•A weather driven tritrophic demographic model for coffee – CBB – four parasitoids (Phymastichus coffea, Cephalonomia stephanoderis, Prorops nasuta, Cephalonomia hyalinipennis) was developed.•A weather driven tritrophic demographic model for coffee – coffee berry borer (CBB) – four parasitoids was developed.•The system model was used to analyze the potential for biological control of CBB in Colombia and Brazil.
