•Chemical abundances are measured for the Am star HR 7250.•High resolution and signal-to-noise spectrum is used for the analysis.•The spectrum was obtained at the TÜBİTAK National Observatory.•The performed analysis is based on LTE model atmospheres.•The evolutionary status of the star is estimated.
