摘要

•A novel immunoassay based on QDs was proposed for aflatoxin B1 detection.•Dual ligands of MPA and mPEG-HS collectively contributed to transfer the initial hydrophobic QDs into aqueous solution.•QDs PL intensity was enhanced by addition of glycine.•The immunoassay proposed was successfully applied for aflatoxin B1 screening in medicinal herbs.
