What's in a Giant Cell? A Case of Metastatic Sarcomatoid Pleomorphic Carcinoma with Osteoclast-Like Giant Cells Involving the Thyroid

We present a case of sarcomatoid pleomorphic carcinoma with osteoclast‐like giant cells metastatic to the thyroid, followed by a discussion of the different pathologic entities to consider when encountering giant cells, a common component of many thyroid FNA specimens.
