Sensitive detection of fractalkine based on AuNPs and metal-organic frameworks composite at para-sulfonatocalix[4]arene-AuNPs assembled multilayer interface

•A novel porous pSC4-AuNPs/Cu-MOFs was fabricated for sensitive electrochemical detection of FKN.•The three-dimensional multilayer pSC4-AuNPs modified electrode interface has the good biocompatibility and high electronic transmission.•FKN can be measured with a detection limit of 7.4 pg/mL.
