Clinicopathological features and time trends of three subtypes of gastric cancer: Upper intestinal, lower intestinal and diffuse. Analysis of the GIRCG database on 5606 patients

Previous studies indicated peculiar epidemiological and clinical-pathological features of three subtypes of gastric cancer, and suggested a potential different classification and therapeutic approach. The aim of this study is to analyze their characteristics and evaluate the time trends in a large multicenter database.
