摘要
The spin-orbit interaction (SOI) of light is usually weak in dielectric particles and recently is enhanced in plasmonic structures. This Letter Article shows that strong SOI can arise in dielectric particles with dual symmetry, resulting in enhanced spin Hall effect of scattered light. It reveals the relationship between spin Hall shift and dual symmetry. The interference between electric and magnetic dipolar modes plays an important role in enhancing the spin Hall shift. Strong SOI is demonstrated by the optical singularity of the orbital angular momentum. The results can find potential applications in dielectric-based photonic devices, such as optical sensing and manipulation of subwavelength nanoparticles.
