摘要
•Himalayan rhododendrons flower in a significantly staggered sequenced progression across gradients of elevation and season.•Within this progression, species vary in the degree and direction of their response to temperature changes.•These responses have direct impacts on reproductive outputs.•This progression and its functions are vulnerable to disruption by ongoing climate change.
