ivation of NK cells by hematopoietic targets is controlled by the SLAM receptors and SAP adaptors. Veillette and colleagues show that SLAM-SAP pathways also control NK cell cytotoxicity against nonhematopoietic targets through SLAMF6 homotypic interactions and education.
