A Reflection on the 1990s

The most striking feature of China in 1990s is the establishment of market economic system.The opening and reform,which aims at promoting China’s comprehensive power and international competitiveness,regards the opening to the capitalist market system as an important content,and the country’s market system has been re-evaluated.Hence China’s economy has been shifted from industry-oriented economy to finance-oriented debt-currency economyled bycurrencyand investment.This shift has alsobrought about the transformation of China society in 1990s during which the exposed economic and social problems need not only to be hackled theoretically,but also to be put into practice from the perspective of social development.
