摘要

•Only the limited surface of asphalts (0–4.5 μm) could be UV aged directly.•The direct UV aged asphalts within 0–4.5 μm could gradually diffuse to the under layer (under 4.5 μm) of asphalts.•The diffusing depth was keeping increasing with increment of UV aging time.
