摘要

•Aspergillus sydowii was incubated in three different culture media using OSMAC approach.•Natural diketopiperazines were obtained by A. sydowii in OSMAC approach.•Compound cyclo-(L-Val-L-Pro) was able to inhibit acetylcholinesterase, a key enzyme for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.•A. sydowii showed to be a good tool in the search for new anti-AChE drugs.
