Vesicle formation by cholesterol based hydrazone tethered amphiphiles: Stimuli responsive dissipation of self-assembly.
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science(2018)
摘要
Cholesterol based hydrazone tethered small amphiphiles were developed with variation of carbonyl residue. These hydrazone tailored amphiphiles did form self-aggregated bilayer vesicles through lamellar packing in DMSO-water solvent mixture, which got disintegrated in acidic pH due to cleavage of hydrazone bond. This stimuli responsive dissipation of self-assembly was utilized in pH-responsive release of entrapped drug.
