摘要

•This study was focused on population in resource limited settings.•Higher PSQI score was associated with increased odds of prevalent hypertension.•Untreated hypertension was excluded to avoid possible misclassification of hypertension.•The association was confirmed by combining epidemiological study and meta-analysis.
