Highly Automated Analysis of Intimal and Medial Thickness in Heart-Transplant Coronary Oct Facilitates Longitudinal Studies of Cav Progression

Coronary Autograft Vasculopathy (CAV) is a frequent complication of heart transplantation (HTx). To help identify patients destined for cardiac graft failure, early determination of layer-specific coronary wall thickening is of major importance. We developed and validated quantitative analysis of coronary OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) to highly automatically determine intimal and medial thickness in all images of OCT pullback.
