of anti-apoptotic protein Bcl2.g-Mangostin significantly inhibits spheroid formation suggesting that it affects stem cells.Moreover, g-Mangostin treatment decreased the expression of Wnt signaling proteins and its downstream targets such as cyclin D1 and c-Myc, which suggest that it inhibits the adenoma growth through Wnt/ b-catenin signaling pathway.Additionally, MG132 treatment inhibited g-Mangostin induced degradation of b-catenin suggesting the involvement of proteosomal degradation pathway.Conclusion: Together, these data suggest that g-Mangostin inhibits FAP patient derived cells growth through Wnt/ b-catenin signaling pathway.g-Mangostin may be a promising therapeutic agent for Familial Adenomatous Polyposis.
