Design and synthesis of novel aminosiloxane crosslinked linseed oil-based waterborne polyurethane composites and its physicochemical properties

•A simple method is presented for the synthesis of a novel LMGWPU-Si composites.•The linseed oil monoglyceride plays an important role in stability.•The LMGWPU-Si showed good thermal, hydrolysis resistance, and mechanical properties.
