Construction of MXene/NiO composites through in-situ precipitation strategy for dispersibility improvement of NiO nanoparticles
CERAMICS INTERNATIONAL(2019)
摘要
Aiming at improving the dispersibility of NiO nanoparticles, an in-situ precipitation strategy was developed for constructing MXene/NiO composites, which meanwhile could address the possible oxidation of MXene with traditional high temperature method. This strategy involves electrostatic absorption of Ni2+ cations by MXene, in-situ precipitation of Ni(OH)(2) under room temperature (RT), and calcination under N-2. NiO nanoparticles (similar to 25 nm) were uniformly dispersed on the surface of MXene, and the catalytic effect of NiO on the thermal decomposition of ammonium perchlorate (AP) was enhanced. This method can be generalized to prepare other transition metal oxide (TMO) and MXene composites for dispersibility improvement of TMO nanoparticles for various applications.
