11. Addressing Fertility Preservation in Female Pediatric Oncology Patients: A Quality Improvement Study in Calgary AB Canada

The number of young cancer survivors has been increasing due to successful advances in health care treatments. Unfortunately, this new population of survivors has new and different barriers to face as they age: failure to obtain puberty, infertility or early menopause. Overall, there is strong support to make fertility services more widely available and accessible to cancer patients and their families. This study aims to improve our counseling of health professionals and patients on oncofertilty based on gaps in health education.
