Effect of an axial high static magnetic field on the crystal orientation and magnetic property of Fe-4.5wt.% Si alloy during bulk solidification

•Strong Goss texture was obtained at 6 T without complicated rolling and annealing.•There is a misorientation angle slope in the interior of grain.•Magnetic properties are greatly improved by using high static magnetic field.
