Design of thin and tubular MOFs-polymer mixed matrix membranes for highly selective separation of H2 and CO2

A facile and general strategy is developed to fabricate MOFs based mixed matrix membranes. The MMMs exhibit excellent gas separation performance with both elevated selectivity and enhanced permeation rate, which can be affected by the incorporated MOFs. The strategy opens an avenue to the design of highly efficient membranes for the practical and efficient gas or liquid separation.
