摘要
•Synthesis of novel @α-Fe2O3 decorated g-C3N4/ZnO ternary Z-scheme photocatalyst.•Photocatalytic degradation of Tartrazine has been studied.•Ternary Z-scheme photocatalyst can able to degrade 99.34% of tartrazine dye within 35 min under visible light irradiation.•The as-synthesized photocatalyst has excellent cyclic stability and photoelectrochemical behaviour than binary composites.
