摘要
•Myeloid derived suppressor cells are immature myeloid cells with potent immunosuppressive activity.•Myeloid derived suppressor cells play an important role in different pathological conditions such as cancer, infection, and obesity.•P2X7 receptor is the most extensively studied purinergic receptor with a dual function in different inflammatory pathological conditions.•The purinergic P2X7R/ATP signaling is functional on myeloid derived suppressor cells and promotes immunosuppression.
