摘要
•Northern Nasonia wasps increase circadian period as an adaptation to latitude.•Larger difference between circadian and light-dark period does not reduce survival.•Survival may have been rescued by extremely strong circadian light resetting.•This finding is relevant for adverse health effects of human circadian misalignment.
