摘要
•Female Peristenus spretus are attracted to Ricinus communis plants attacked by Apolygus lucorum.•Electrophysiologically-active compounds were identified as m-cymene and 4′-ethylacetophenone from the damaged plants.•Each compound elicited significant antennal and behavioral responses of P. spretus.•Under field conditions, A. lucorum parasitism rates greatly increased in traps baited with the compounds.
