摘要
•Bi7O9I3/Bi5O7I n-n heterojunction was constructed by in situ thermal treatment.•Bi7O9I3/Bi5O7I could remove TCS efficiently under simulated solar irradiation.•Superoxide radicals, singlet oxygen, holes, and electron were active species.•Eleven degradation products were identified by HPLS-MS.•Two major reaction pathways were deduced.
