摘要
Nowadays, the gender gap in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) is a global problem that is tackle from different points of view in order to reduce it. This gap covers all ages and contexts, from education - primary school to university level - to the labour market. In the last decades, a large number of initiatives have emerged to work actively in promoting gender equality in STEM. Also, from an I+D point of view, in the European context, several projects focused on the gender gap and diversity in STEM have been funded through different programmes. In order to get an overview of the European context, a systematic mapping study of projects related to the gender gap in STEM was conducted in CORDIS, Erasmus+ and KEEP databases. A total number of 435 projects were analysed, and 31 projects were selected to get the overview. The paper describes the methodology used to conduct the analysis, an adaptation of techniques from the systematic literature review and systematic mapping reviews usually used for scientific papers. Finally, the results from the mapping review are described.
