Concentration and distribution of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the Asan Lake area of South Korea.

•The levels of PFAS in the multimedia environment of Asan Lake area were examined.•PFOA in air and soil, PFPeA in water, and PFOS in sediment and fish were majors.•Long-chain PFAS were dominant PFAS in most media except water.•Longer-chain PFAS, especially PFOS, are significantly accumulated in fish.•PCA result implies that PFAS in fish might be transferred from the sediment.
