SAT-094 OUTCOMES OF ONCE DAILY IMMUNOSUPPRESSION IN YOUNG ADULTS WITH RENAL TRANSPLANTS
Kidney international reports(2019)
摘要
Immunosuppression for kidney transplantation is a delicate balance designed to prevent rejection whilst minimising the burden of medication side effects. This is often challenging in the young adult population who demonstrate the highest rate of poor concordance with immunosuppression. Medication adherence is adversely affected by multiple daily-dose medication regimens. We present retrospective results from a single centre using a simplified once daily medication regimen. The aim of this analysis was to assess adherence to a once daily dosing and whether such a strategy was associated with improved outcomes.
