(1 − x)(NKL)(NST)O 3 − x(Ba 0.90 Ca 0.1 )ZrO 3 ceramics with (Ba 0.90 Ca 0.1 )ZrO 3 substitution were synthesized and their physical characteristics were systematically analyzed. All specimens showed typical perovskite structure and no second phase was found according to (Ba 0.90 Ca 0.1 )ZrO 3 substitution. When Ba 0.90 Ca 0.1 )ZrO 3 substitution x = 0.02, the highest piezoelectric characteristics of d 33 = 260 pC/N, ε r = 1904, k p = 0.4102, Qm = 106 were found for piezoelectric devices such as actuators and ultrasonic sensors.
