An Iterative Scheme to Map and Incorporate Geologic Information of Discontinuous Heterogeneity in Hydraulic Tomography

•A clustering algorithm is implemented in SimSLE for hydraulic tomographic analysis.•Numerical experiment is carried out to test the performance of the method.•This method outperforms traditional one in both large and small scale heterogeneity.•The estimates were validated by solute transport experiments.
