摘要
•Soil application of selenate favored the accumulation of Se in the shoots of R. sativus.•Instantaneous carboxylation efficiency was higher with selenite, via soil.•Selenium content in the shoots was positively correlated with photosynthetic rate.•Foliar application of selenite increased the thickness of the epidermis and reduced the total area of the vascular bundle.•The number of xylem cells in the root was higher in the absence of Se.
