Safety and treatment compliance of subcutaneous immunotherapy: A 30-year retrospective study.

•AIT was shown to be safe and well tolerated over a period of 30-years in a single Center series including 2200 patients.•Less than 2% of patients discontinued AIT because of treatment-related SE.•The compliance rate (completion of the minimum required treatment of 3 years) was high (>40%) relative to literature data.•Females, asthmatics and patients treated with multiple vaccines or between 1996 and 2018 were at increased risk of SE.
