Conflict management in the fusion of complementary segmentations of deformed kidneys and nephroblastoma.

•This paper proposes 2 models for segmentation fusion.•These models mix together 6 different methods in order to manage conflicts.•These models have been applied to 139 scans of kidney cancer tumours of 3 children.•Tumours and kidneys were segmented separately and merged through our methods.•Results obtained resolved all the conflicts and improved the overall segmentations.
