摘要
•A simple sonochemical method has been adopted for the preparation of MWCNT-CNC nanocomposite.•The ZnO NR on MWCNT-CNC nanocomposite has been prepared using a solution based sonochemical approach for the first time.•The MWCNT-CNC/ZnO NR nanocomposite has been used as immobilisation matrix for hemin and construction of H2O2 biosensor.•A lower LOD of 4.0 nM with lower reduction potential of H2O2 has been achieved using MWCNT-CNC/ZnO NR/hemin biosensor.•The practicality of the fabricated biosensor has been validated in milk samples.
