摘要
•Nano-WO3 is coated on LiNi0.5 Co0.2Mn0.3O2.•The WO3-coated sample shows narrow gap between the redox potentials.•0.6 wt% WO3-coating much improves the rate capability and cycling stability at high- voltage electrochemical performance.•Excessive coating of WO3 degrades the cell performances of LiNi0.5 Co0.2Mn0.3O2.
