Nanocalorimetry of Explosives Prepared by Inkjet Printing

•The melting and decomposition of four explosives were measured using nanocalorimetry.•Evolved species were measured using a coupled triple-quadrupole mass spectrometer.•Samples were deposited using quantitative inkjet printing.•Distinct melting peaks that we believe are alpha and beta isoforms of RDX were identified.
