Antimicrobial susceptibility of Trueperella pyogenes isolated from food-producing ruminants.

•T. pyogenes is an opportunistic pathogen causing a variety of diseases in ruminants.•Penicillin and amoxicillin are recommended for the first line of empiric treatment.•High nonsusceptible isolates to sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim were detected.•MIC distribution yields useful information on stablishing specific breakpoints.
