New Energy Accommodation and Interaction Technology based on Load Sequential Decomposition

With the large-scale wind power penetration, the power balance of source-grid-load system was changed. For power system operation and control, two kinds of uncertainty and unknown variables appeared in the balance equation, namely large-scale intermittent wind power and load. It’s the key of the paper, that the uncertainty load was transparently solved. Firstly, the wind power accommodation capability evaluation was established, the system accommodation capability was quantitative evaluated. The key factors of source-grid-load accommodation were analyzed. Secondly, for interaction load, feature identification function was proposed, the interaction load observer was established; the interaction load controller was established, which consisted of discrimination matrix and peak-valley interaction model. Thirdly, the integral control of interaction load was designed by inner-outer control loop. Based on the actual grid, focusing on source-grid-load coordination and the interaction load response, the effectiveness of the proposed solution measures was verified through simulation.
