Colectomy influences the radial pulse parameters of traditional Chinese medicine pulse diagnosis in patients with colorectal cancer

•Right Chi pulse corresponds to the changes in the large intestine.•SE10―50 Hz and SE13―50 Hz of the right Chi was significantly increased after the colectomy.•SE13―50 Hz of the right Chun was significantly decreased after the colectomy.•The radial augmentation index (AI) of the right Chi was significantly reduced after the colectomy.
