Clinical experience with brivaracetam in a series of 46 children.

•Brivaracetam has been evaluated over 12 months in a sample of 46 pediatric patients.•The response rate after 12 months is 65%, including 30% seizure-free patients.•The highest level of efficacy was observed in patients with focal epilepsy.•During the 12 months of treatment, 43.5% of patients had at least one side effect.•The potential efficacy in very diverse childhood type of epilepsy is demonstrated.
