摘要

•Iron and magnetite thin films are synthesized by chemical methods.•Growth of MoS2 on top of them is attempted by sulfurization of a MoOx film.•No chemical reaction happens at the ferromagnet/MoOx interface.•Sulfurization is the critical step, because of formation of FeS2.
