Mango (Mangifera indica L.) is a very popular fruit crop of family Anacardiaceae in India as well as tropical and subtropical countries of the world. India is the largest mango producing country in the world. It is known as “King of fruits” due to its delicious taste, attractive colour and nutritional value. A fully matured fruit contains a high level of sugars (16-18 % w/v) with blending of acidity and antioxidants medicinal value like carotene.
