RELM mediated inflammatory signal in right heart dysfunction

Right heart failure (RHF) is the leading cause of death in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Resistin-like molecules (RELMs) is a family of proteins that has been postulated to play an important role in cardiovascular disease including heart failure. This study aimed to investigate the role of RELMs in RV dysfunction/failure and the protective effect of antibody to RELMs during experimental pulmonary hypertension.
