摘要
The dandelion is a famous traditional Chinese medicine. However, little research was performed on the anti-inflammatory potency evaluation of dandelion oligopeptides (DOPs). In current study, we isolated the DOPs and explored the anti-inflammatory potency of them on LPS-induced macrophages. The results indicated that DOP-1 effectively inhibited LPS-induced inflammatory cytokines over-expression. Signal transduction studies showed that DOP-1 may repress the phosphorylation of p38, ERK1/2, JNK, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) and Akt, and inhibits the activation of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB). Of note, our investigation suggests DOPs are potential anti-inflammatory bioactive oligopeptides and further researches were on the way.
