摘要

•Radiation-induced second primary squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity (RISCCO).•RISCCO is a rare complication of nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy.•Intensity-modulated radiotherapy shorten the latency of RISCCO.•Multimodality therapy may not be effective to improve survival of RISCCO patients.•Surgical resection is the first choice for good prognosis in RISCCO patients.
