Collectively, these results indicate that BMSC-derived exosomes can effectively alleviate smoke inhalation lung injury by inhibiting the HMGB1/NF-κB pathway, suggesting that exosome, a noncellular therapy, is a potential therapeutic strategy for inhalation lung injury.
