D-serine Ameliorates Motor and Cognitive Impairments in β-amyloid 1-42 Injected Mice by Inhibiting JNK Signaling Pathway.

•Microinjection of Aβ1-42 into the hippocampus of mice could cause cognitive and motor impairment in mice model.•Treatment of D-serine alleviated cognitive and motor deficits of Aβ1-42 injected mice.•D-serine mainly inhibits JNK phosphorylation and mediates expression of a variety of downstream transcription factors by activating NMDAR.
