摘要
Introduction: Among the patients with the diagnosis of cancer, lifetime risk of development of other malignancies is higher than that of the people without cancer diagnosis. In literature, the reports about the patients with multiple primary malignancies are being published with increasing frequency. Case presentation: A 58 year-old female patient was diagnosed as left breast cancer, staged as pT1N0M0, in June 2002. In July 2010 basal cell skin cancer (pT1N0M0) on the skin of epigastric region, in January 2013 right breast cancer (pT1bN0M0), in February 2014 lung squamous cell carcinoma in upper lobe of left lung (pT2N0M0) and bladder invasive urothelial carcinoma (pT2bN0M0) developed in that patient. It was proven pathologically that all of these tumors are primary tumors, not metastasis from another one. Conclusion: There is no consensus in the treatment of patients with multiple primary malignancies. Our patient was treated for each tumor according to its own stage with multimodality approach. She is now 72 year-old, currently in complete clinical and radiological remission and she continues follow-up visits.
