High Velocity P/V valve is a equipment that must be installed on liquid cargo carriers, FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) and FSRU (Floating Storage Regasification Unit) to protect the tank from pressure and vacuum generated during loading/unloading of liquid cargo. As the temperature changes the VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) is generated in the tank. VOCs to increase the pressure inside the tank can lead to failure. In order to prevent this, by installing a safety valve, exhaust valve and relieve the internal pressure of the tank. In addition, when the flame of the external fire for discharging the explosive gas inside the tank there is a risk that a backfire into the tank.
